Relationships take sustained attention
Rollxo — Elvion works with people who are dealing with specific, persistent relationship difficulties — not general dissatisfaction, but patterns that keep repeating despite their own efforts to change them.

Who does this work. Rollxo
The mentors at Elvion have each spent more than 8 years working directly with people through relationship difficulties — not in academic settings, but in ongoing, real-time guidance.
Their background spans conflict resolution, attachment-informed communication, and the kind of long-cycle support that only comes from working with the same person across months or years.
- Direct experience — each mentor has navigated their own significant relationship challenges before guiding others
- Longitudinal work — minimum 6-month engagements, often extending to 18 months or more
- Specific focus — interpersonal patterns, not life coaching generalism or productivity frameworks Rollxo
What consistency looks like over time
These figures reflect what happens when the same person works with the same mentor across a defined period — not a snapshot, but a pattern.
Inside a working relationship
Each engagement begins with 3 structured intake sessions before any ongoing work starts. This is not a formality — it shapes everything that follows.
Sessions are 60 minutes, held via video, with written notes shared within 24 hours. Between sessions, clients have access to a private async channel for questions that cannot wait. Rollxo
Months 1–2
Pattern mapping — identifying what actually recurs, not what the client assumes recurs
Months 3–6
Active adjustment — trying specific approaches and reviewing what shifts
Month 6+
Consolidation — making durable what was previously fragile under pressure
The pace is deliberate
Relationship patterns take years to form. Expecting them to shift in a few weeks is a reasonable hope, but not a reliable plan. Most meaningful change in how people relate to others becomes visible around the 4-month mark.
Sessions do not follow a script. The mentor tracks what is actually happening in the client's life between sessions and adjusts the focus accordingly. There is no fixed curriculum.

Situations that resolved
Rollxo — These are real engagements, described with permission. Names are changed. The situations are not.
11 months
A pattern of withdrawal under conflict
Brigid, 38, had left 3 long-term relationships over 9 years, each time after a period of escalating silence. By month 7, she had named what she was doing before she did it — and chosen differently, twice.
— Brigid O.
14 months
Rebuilding trust after a disclosure
Tariq, 44, came after a breach of trust in his marriage. His partner did not join the sessions. Over 14 months, he worked on what he brought to the relationship, not what had been done to him. The marriage continued.
— Tariq N.
8 months
A parent–adult child relationship that had stopped functioning
Rollxo — Fenella, 61, had not spoken to her daughter in 14 months. She came expecting to be told what to say. Instead, the work focused on what she had been unable to hear. Contact resumed at month 6. It remains imperfect, which she now describes as acceptable.
— Fenella K.
"The work is slow by design. Fast would mean skipping the parts that matter."
— Elvion mentor, year 4 of practice
What Elvion does not do
Knowing where something ends is as useful as knowing what it offers. This is not a comprehensive list — it is the questions we get most often from people trying to decide.
- Not couples counselling Elvion works with individuals only. The other person in the relationship does not participate and cannot be contacted.
- Not crisis support If the situation involves immediate safety concerns, a clinical service is the appropriate first step. Elvion is not equipped for acute intervention.
- Not a substitute for therapy Mentorship and therapy are different. Elvion does not diagnose, does not treat mental health conditions, and does not position itself as clinical care.
- Not a short engagement A single session or a 4-week package is not how this works. The minimum commitment is 3 months, and most meaningful outcomes require longer.
Who this tends to fit
People who come to Elvion have usually already tried other things — read the books, talked to friends, perhaps seen a therapist. They are not looking for information. They are looking for someone to think alongside them, consistently, over time.
You can name the pattern but have not been able to change it on your own. Rollxo
The relationship in question matters enough to you that you will show up for 6+ months
You are prepared to look at your own contribution, not just what the other person is doing
You want a consistent person to work with, not a rotating team or a platform
